Mohamed joined Jumia in February 2018 as the CEO of Jumia Senegal. Prior, Mohamed developed extensive international experience over 10 years in France and Canada for brands such as BNP Paribas, Western Union, Ogilvy, Bell, and Nespresso. He began his career as a marketing specialist at Western Union in France.. Mohamed was at Nespresso Canada for five years. In this role, he built and managed the digital media and e-commerce Canadian teams with the goal of providing the best experience for Nespresso customers and leading business growth. Mohamed holds a Master’s degree in Economy from Lille, France and an MBA in Marketing Digital and E-commerce from Institut Léonard de Vinci in Paris, France.
