Sam Chappatte is the CEO of Jumia Kenya since in 2016, having previously led the expansion of Jumia in 6 African markets (Ghana, Cameroon, Senegal, Algeria, Tanzania & Uganda) from 2015 to 2016 Prior to joining Jumia, Sam worked for the Boston Consulting Group in London (2011-2015), as part of the Africa Practice & focused on Retail & Digital. Sam holds a Master's degree in Management from ESCP Europe (France) where he was awarded a prize for thesis "Acquisitions in Frontier Markets" and graduated with Distinction.
