Sami joined Jumia at its launch in 2012, where he served as co-CEO of Jumia Morocco, co-MD of Jumia Marketplace, and Group Head of Strategy & Investor Relations and since 2019 as Group Head of Financial Services, acting as JumiaPay CEO. He started his career in the banking industry in 2006 in London (UK) and later on as an entrepreneur launching his first company in the photovoltaic industry in 2008 in France. He also worked at Roland Berger as a Strategy Consultant across various industries in Paris (2010). Sami is a French-Moroccan national with a Master of Science from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris (France), and an MBA from College des Ingenieurs in Paris (France).
