Tanguy joined Jumia in February 2020, as CEO Jumia Algeria. Prior, Tanguy spent 14 years in LafargeHolcim where he held several positions. The last 5 years, he was in Algeria leading the Marketing and Strategy department where he was instrumental in transforming Lafarge Algeria from a production driven to a customer centric organization. He began his career in Beijing (China), helping LafargeHolcim optimize its investment portfolio, leading to an over 500 MEUR investment in the South West of China. Tanguy has also experience in ERP implementation, internal audit and commercial performance. Tanguy holds a Master’s Degree from ESSEC Business School, a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from ESTP in Paris, France, and a Master of Science in Water Resources from Birmingham University in the UK.
